• Jais Railway Station to Guru Gorakhnath Dham Railway Station

Located in Amethi district, the Jais railway station was renamed to Guru Gorakhnath Dham railway station on August 27, 2024. This change was made to honor the revered saint Guru Gorakhnath. The station serves as a significant point on the Lucknow–Rae Bareli–Varanasi line and is situated near the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. 

•  Nihalgarh Railway Station to Maharaja Bijli Pasi Railway Station

Also in Amethi district, the Nihalgarh railway station was renamed to Maharaja Bijli Pasi railway station on August 27, 2024. This renaming honors Maharaja Bijli Pasi, a notable historical figure. The station is part of the Varanasi–Sultanpur–Lucknow line and features two platforms. 

• Faizabad Junction to Ayodhya Cantt Railway Station

In October 2021, the Faizabad Junction railway station was officially renamed Ayodhya Cantt railway station. This change reflects the station's proximity to the historic city of Ayodhya. The station is located on the Lucknow-Varanasi section and serves as a significant junction in the region.

• Mughalsarai Junction to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction
