• 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
• OR, 12th (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• OR, Graduation with 50 % Marks and 2 yr DElEd.
• OR, Master’s degree in the concerned subject with 55 % marks with DElEd.
• CTET Paper 1 or BTET Paper 1 Qualified

• Graduation with 2 year Diploma.
• OR, Graduation/Post Graduation degree with 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree/ B.Ed. Special Education from a recognized university/institute.
• OR, Graduation with 45 % Marks and 1 year B.Ed. Degree.
• OR, Class 12 with 50 % marks and 4-year BA.Ed/BSc.ED/B.El.Ed degree from a recognized university/institute. OR, Post Graduation with 55 % Marks and 3-year B.Ed.M.Ed. OR, BCA with 50 % Marks and D.El.Ed/B.Ed/ B.Ed Special Education/MCA with 55 % Marks and 3 year B.Ed. M.Ed. OR, B.Tech with Specialization in Science and Math and B.Ed. OR, B.Sc Biotechnology/B.Sc Electronics with B.Ed.

• Graduation/Post Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed degree/ B.Ed Special Education from a recognized university/institute is necessary.
• OR, 4 yr BA.Ed/BSc.ED degree from a recognized university/institute

• Post Graduation + B.Ed./ B.El.ED and  Qualified for Bihar STET Paper II
