DSSSB PRT Eligibility Criteria 2025

Here are eligibility criteria for the DSSSB PRT recruitment 2025. Candidates can get an idea about the eligibility criteria listed here-

• Must be a citizen of India.

• Age not exceeding 30 years as on 16th October 2025 (relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per Government norms).

For Directorate of Education:

The minimum educational qualification for Directorate of Education is-

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR other equivalent qualifications as mentioned in the PDF.

• Pass in CTET conducted by CBSE.

• Must have passed Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English at Secondary level

For New Delhi Municipal Council:

The minimum educational qualification for New Delhi Municipal Council is-

• 12th pass with 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST).

• 2 years Diploma in Primary Education/JBT/DIET/B.El.Ed.

• Must have passed Hindi in 10th Class.

• CTET qualification required.

DSSSB PRT Minimum Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks for the DSSSB PRT Recruitment 2025 examination vary by category. For all Technical/Teaching posts, candidates must secure the mandatory minimum qualifying marks only in the domain subject-specific section (Section-B). There is no minimum qualifying mark in Section-A. The combined marks of both Section-A and Section-B will be used to prepare the final merit list.

The minimum qualifying marks are as follows:

• General/EWS candidates must score at least 40%

• OBC (Delhi) candidates must score at least 35%

• SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates must score at least 30%

DSSSB PRT Syllabus 2025

DSSSB PRT Syllabus includes two sections. Section A concludes general subjects and section B is for teaching methodology. Check the details here  -

DSSSB PRT Salary 2025
