Twinkle Agrawal always had a clear vision for her academic and professional future. With a background in Economics, she understood that passing a competitive teaching exam required clear concepts, not just memorization. However, preparing for the UPTET Upper Primary Social Studies (SST) Paper 2 made her feel nervous and unsure.
PW supported her preparation through concept-focused classes, real-life examples, and regular practice resources such as DPPs, mock tests, and test series. These resources helped her strengthen her understanding, revisit challenging topics, and assess her preparation as she worked towards the exam.
Twinkle’s preparation was supported by her family, who encouraged her when she felt uncertain about clearing the exam. The difference she perceived between UPTET and CTET sometimes made her question whether she had prepared sufficiently. However, the encouragement she received helped her continue preparing rather than let those doubts dictate her next steps.
Reflecting on her family’s role, Twinkle shared:
“Padhai ke maamle mein mere parivar ka bahut zyada samarthan tha aur woh hamesha mujhe prerit karte rahe.”
She also recalled how her family reassured her when she was worried about the result:
“Us samay main dar gayi thi. Lekin phir mere parivar ne mujhe prerit karke kaha ki tum yeh kar paogi. Shaant raho. Achhe se jao aur shaant dimaag se pariksha do.”
This encouragement helped Twinkle regain confidence in the preparation she had already completed. Instead of treating her doubts as a reason to give up, she focused on continuing her studies and trusting her efforts.
Twinkle found UPTET different from CTET, which made her question whether her existing preparation was enough. The pressure increased during the final days before the examination, when she became particularly anxious about her readiness.
She recalled how she felt three days before the test:
“Pariksha se teen din pehle mujhe bahut chinta ho rahi thi ki shayad main nahi kar paungi. Yeh pariksha alag hai. Shayad maine utni achhi taiyari nahi ki.”
These doubts were difficult to manage, especially with the examination approaching. Her family encouraged her to stay calm and trust the effort she had put into preparation rather than letting anxiety affect her confidence.
She described the reassurance she received:
“Apni taiyari par vishwas rakho.”
Alongside these emotional challenges, Twinkle also had to work on subjects she found difficult. Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP) and Hindi required particular attention. CDP, in particular, called for conceptual understanding and the ability to connect theoretical ideas with practical situations.
She needed a learning approach that helped her understand the concepts and apply them while solving questions. This became an important part of how she approached her preparation with support from PW.
Twinkle Agrawal found CDP challenging, but real-life examples in Teaching Wallah classes helped her connect concepts with practical situations.
“Aapne bahut real life ke udaharan liye hain jinse hum seedhe jud paate hain.”
She also used DPPs, mock tests, and test series to assess her preparation.
“Jab hum DPP dete hain, tab hamare liye woh vishay saaf ho jaata hai ki uspar hamari pakad kitni hai aur kitni nahi hai.”
PW mentorship sessions allowed her to discuss doubts directly with teachers.
“Mentorship session bhi pa jaate hain. One on One, jiske madhyam se hum apne shikshakon ke saath sampark bana paate hain.”
These resources supported Twinkle in understanding concepts, practising questions, and resolving doubts during her preparation.
As her preparation progressed, Twinkle focused on completing the UPTET syllabus rather than concentrating only on selected topics. She wanted to ensure that even smaller topics or those carrying fewer marks received attention.
Explaining her approach, she said:
“Sabse pehle mujhe poora syllabus khatam karna hai. Main kuchh bhi chhodna nahi chahti. Chahe woh chhota topic ho ya kam number ka ho.”
Once she had covered the syllabus, she concentrated on difficult topics and practised them repeatedly. This allowed her to revisit concepts that needed more work instead of moving on without understanding them.
She described the next stage of her preparation:
“Taiyari ke doosre charan mein main kathin topics ko baar-baar practice karti hoon, samajhti hoon aur phir ant mein maine bahut mock test diye hain.”
Twinkle combined this approach with DPPs, mock tests, and test series on the PW app. Topic-wise practice helped her check her understanding, while mock tests gave her opportunities to evaluate her overall preparation.
Her experience also shaped the advice she shared with future UPTET aspirants.
1. Complete the entire syllabus: Twinkle recommended covering every topic instead of skipping areas that appear less important or carry fewer marks. A systematic approach can help candidates avoid gaps in their preparation.
2. Attend classes consistently: She encouraged aspirants to attend live classes whenever possible and use YouTube classes to study concepts. Revisiting lessons can also help when a topic needs further clarification.
3. Practise alongside syllabus coverage: Twinkle advised candidates to take mock tests while preparing rather than postponing all practice until the end. DPPs can help assess individual topics, while mock tests and test series can highlight areas requiring revision.
4. Revisit difficult concepts: Repeated practice was an important part of Twinkle's strategy. Candidates can identify topics they find challenging, revise the underlying concepts, and solve additional questions to strengthen their understanding.
5. Seek help with unresolved doubts: Her experience with mentorship highlights the value of discussing questions with teachers when self-study or regular classes do not fully resolve a difficulty.
Following these habits helped Twinkle structure her preparation around understanding, revision, and practice rather than relying on last-minute study alone.
Clearing UPTET was an important milestone for Twinkle, but she has a further career goal. She wants to become a UP PGT Economics teacher. Her interest in the subject is connected to her academic background and her view that Economics applies to everyday life as well as broader national and international issues.
Sharing her goal, Twinkle said:
“Mera antim lakshya hai UP PGT Economics ki faculty banna.”
She also explained why the subject interests her:
“Economics aisa ek vishay hai jo hum chhote se shuru karke bahut bade star par istemal kar sakte hain.”
Twinkle’s postgraduate background in Economics and her interest in the subject give direction to her future plans. Her UPTET result is one step in her wider aim of building a teaching career, and she intends to continue working towards that goal.
Twinkle Agrawal’s UPTET July 2026 result of 119 marks shows how consistent preparation, family encouragement and the right learning support can help students work through uncertainty. Her experience highlights the value of completing the syllabus, returning to difficult topics, practising with DPPs and mock tests, and seeking help when concepts remain unclear.
PW’s classes, practice resources, and mentorship formed part of her preparation. For future teaching aspirants, her story offers a realistic reminder to trust the preparation process, assess progress regularly, and keep working towards long-term career goals.
