HTET Application Form 2026: As per the latest update dated 9th April 2026, the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026 will be held on 30th and 31st May 2026. While the exam dates have been officially confirmed, the application process had already closed on 5th January 2026 after an extension by the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE).

Earlier, the application window was extended to offer candidates additional time to apply. However, there is now a possibility that the application form may reopen, providing another opportunity for candidates who missed the initial deadline. Around 2.33 lakh candidates have already registered for the exam.

HTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility is based on educational qualifications tailored to the specific level of teaching the candidate intends to pursue

• Nationality: Candidate must meet the domicile requirements specified by the Government of Haryana for category-based fee concessions.

• Age Limit: Candidates must satisfy age requirements as per the Service Rules of the School Education Department, Haryana.

• Educational Qualification:

• Level-I (PRT, Class I-V): Senior Secondary with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year B.El.Ed.

• Level-II (TGT, Class VI-VIII): Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed.

• Level-III (PGT): Post Graduate degree with 50% marks in the concerned subject and a B.Ed.

• Note: 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks is provided for SC/BC/PH candidates of Haryana.

How to Apply for HTET 2026

The application process was entirely digital and must be completed through the official BSEH portal.

1. Visit the official website: www.bseh.org.in or https://htet.eapplynow.com.

2. Register using a valid mobile number and email ID.

3. Fill in personal details exactly as they appear in the Class 10th certificate.

4. Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and thumb impression.

5. Pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.

6. Download and print the Confirmation Page for your records.

Documents Required to Fill HTET Application Form

Candidates must keep scanned copies of the following documents ready in JPG format before starting the online application.

• Passport size photograph: Latest colored photo with white background, 60% visibility, size 20 KB to 50 KB (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm).

• Signature: Scanned signature on white background, size 10 KB to 50 KB.

• Thumb Impression: Scanned thumb impression, size 10 KB to 50 KB.

• Identification Proof: Aadhar number or other valid ID proof is mandatory.

• Educational certificates: Details from Class 10th/Secondary certificate for personal particulars.
