KTET Exam Date 2025 has been officially announced by Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan. The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2025 will now be conducted on 18 and 19 September 2025 in two shifts each day. Earlier, KTET 2025 exam was scheduled for 23 and 24 August 2025, but it was postponed. Accordingly, the KTET Admit Card 2025 was reissued for the new dates. KTET 2025 Exam, conducted by Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan, is now scheduled to be held on 18 and 19 September 2025. This state-level examination is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers, aiming to determine their eligibility to teach classes I–V and VI–VIII in government schools. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2025 will now be conducted over two days i.e., 18 and 19 September 2025, with each day having two exam shifts. The morning shift will run from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
On 18 September 2025, Category I (Lower Primary) and Category II (Upper Primary) exams will be held in the morning and afternoon shifts, respectively.
On 19 September 2025, Category III (High School) and Category IV (Language, Specialist, and Physical Education Teachers) will follow the same shift pattern.
Each paper lasts 2.5 hours, and candidates are advised to arrive early for document verification and seating arrangements.
Candidates appearing for the KTET 2025 must carefully follow all exam day instructions to ensure a smooth and fair process. It is mandatory to carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo ID such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or voter ID, as entry will not be permitted without these documents. Candidates should reach the exam center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the reporting time; Paper I is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and Paper II from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The exam is conducted in offline mode, so candidates must bring their own blue or black ballpoint pen, while calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited. A simple dress code is advised, avoiding accessories like jewelry, watches, or belts that might be restricted.
Candidates should listen carefully to the invigilators’ instructions, fill in their details on the answer sheet correctly, and not open the question booklet until instructed. The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark, with no negative marking for wrong answers. Maintaining silence and discipline inside the hall is crucial, as any form of malpractice can result in disqualification, and candidates are not allowed to leave the hall before the exam duration of 2.5 hours is over.
