MTET 2023: The Department of Education, Meghalaya has announced the MTET 2023 exam date on the official website, dert.megeducation.gov.in. The Meghalaya TET 2023 Exam will be conducted in two shifts for both Papers 1 and 2. The board has also announced the MTET Admit Card 2023 on 23 November 2023. The candidates who qualify for the examination become eligible for the MTET Certificate PDF issued by the board. The Meghalaya TET Application Form 2023 link was active from 03 to 26, 2023.

The MTET Age Limit 2023 has been announced for Lower Primary and Upper Primary Teachers. The minimum age limit for the Meghalaya TET 2023 is going to be 21 years for the Teachers. Whereas, the upper age limit will vary based on the different categories. The maximum age limit to appear for the MTET 2023 exam is 32 years.

MTET Educational Qualification 2023

As per the MTET Eligibility 2023, the board has announced separate educational qualifications for the Primary teacher and the Upper Primary Teacher. The candidates have to qualify for the minimum educational qualification of Meghalaya TET to get a call for the written examination.

Lower Primary Teacher Candidates appearing for the MTET 2023 exam should have qualified for class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates who belong to the reserved category must have secured 45% marks in aggregate. Those who have qualified for a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in accordance with NCTE regulations/four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/Diploma in Special Education are also eligible to apply.
Upper Primary Teacher Candidates should pass BA/BSc with at least 50 per cent aggregate and should clear a two-year D.El.Ed in accordance with NCTE regulations/one-year B.Ed/four-year B.El.Ed/Diploma in Special Education. Candidates who have cleared Class 12 with at least 50 per cent aggregate and possess a four-year BA.Ed/Bsc.Ed degree are also eligible to apply for the exam.

The candidates who possess the basic eligibility have to fill out the application form on the official website of DERT, Meghalaya. MTET 2023 Admit Card

The MTET Admit Card 2023 has been released on the official website of DERT, Meghalaya. Candidates who have applied for the examination can download the MTET Hall Ticket PDF for both papers 1 and 2.
