Odisha BEd Eligibility Criteria 2025

The Odisha BEd eligibility has been prescribed by the authorities. Candidates who furnish the basic eligibility requirements will be considered for appearing in the examination. Those who fail to do so will be disqualified from the application process:

Odisha BEd Age Limit 2025

The minimum Odisha BEd age limit is not prescribed online. However, the candidates must be no more than 28 years old if they belong to the unreserved category. The following table can be checked to know about the Odisha BEd age relaxations:

Odisha BEd Educational Qualification 2025

• Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in either their Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities are eligible to apply. For SEBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the required percentage is 45%. 

• Additionally, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech.) or any equivalent qualification with a specialization in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Mathematics, must have at least 55% marks overall. For SEBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum aggregate requirement is 50%.

The Odisha BEd Apply Online completed on the official website. Candidates who have completed the applications for BEd entrance are eligible to appear in the exam on 1st June 2025. Keep the Odisha BEd Application Form and the fee receipt hardcopy for reference. The exam conducting authority may ask candidates to present the application form and receipt in the future. 

Odisha BEd Application Form 2025

Applicants are advised to follow the steps outlined below to apply for admission into B.Ed. Courses through the SAMS portal. The application process requires filling out the Common Application Form (CAF) online.

• Visit the SAMS website at www.samsodisha.gov.in and click on the “B.Ed., B.H.Ed., and M.Ed.” link under the Higher Education Department.

• Click on the "New Student Registration" button. Enter your Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Date of Birth in the provided fields.

• Click on the "Generate OTP" button. A six-digit OTP will be sent to your mobile number, valid for 5 minutes. Enter the OTP in the designated box on the screen.

• Create a password and confirm it in the provided field. The password must include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character (e.g., Abcd@1234).

• After successful registration, log in using your credentials (Username & Password) to access your Student login.

• Before filling out the CAF, check the Eligibility Criteria for the B.Ed. Course. Refer to Point No. 3: (Eligibility).

• Upon successful login, click the “Application Form” button. A pop-up will ask if you want to use Digi-Locker data to auto-fill the Common Application Form.

• If you select “Yes,” your demographic data, along with your income and residence certificate (if available), will be automatically retrieved from Digi-Locker and entered into the CAF in a non-editable format.

• If you select “No,” you will need to fill out the form manually without fetching any data from Digi-Locker.

• While completing the CAF, you must provide your Aadhaar Number in the required field. Additionally, you will need to enter your APAAR ID.

• Carefully select your Date of Birth, Social Category, and Stream. Ensure you choose the correct “District for Centre of Examination.”

Odisha BEd Exam Pattern 2025

The Odisha BEd Exam Pattern 2025 has been notified by the competent authorities. There will be two papers in the examination, paper I and paper II. Candidates have to attempt both the papers to qualify for the examination.

However, it will be released 20 to 25 days after the exam is over. The answer key will be released online along with the Odisha BEd question paper PDF. Candidates have to use the answer key and question paper to calculate the marks scored in the examination. The objection portal will also be announced later. 

Odisha BEd Cut Off Marks 2025

The Odisha B.Ed 2025 cut off marks will be announced soon, with separate releases for Arts and Science streams. Various factors will influence these cutoffs, including the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the questions, the total number of available seats, and the reservation categories.
