According to the UPSC IES ISS Age Limit 2024 criteria, the applicant must have attained the age of 21 years and should not be more than 30 years on 1st August 2024. This means that candidates should be born between 2nd August 1994 and 1st August 2003. To apply for the post of IES Officer a candidate must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a recognized university.- Candidates who have appeared at the final examination of the aforementioned degree can also apply provided they submit proof of passing by the date of document verification.
- Candidates who are otherwise qualified but have taken a degree from any Foreign University approved by authorities can apply subject to the discretion of UPSC.
Indian Statistical Service Eligibility 2024
To apply for the post of ISS officer candidate must have obtained either a Bachelor's Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics.- Candidates who have obtained their educational qualification from a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time can also apply subject to other criteria.
- Final-year students can apply provided they submit proof of passing during document verification.
- Also, the study of Statistics as a component of a multidisciplinary course for one or two semesters should not be considered as eligibility. The study of Statistics should be in all the years of the Bachelor's Degree Course
