UPSC IFos Mains Timetable 2025 has been recently released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). As per the timetable, the UPSC IFoS Mains Exam is scheduled to be conducted between November 16, 2025, and November 23, 2025. Candidates who have qualified the UPSC IFoS Prelims exam will be allowed to sit for the IFoS Mains exam.
The IFoS Mains Exam is the second stage of the examination conducted by UPSC to recruit candidates for the Indian Forest Service. This stage is important as the marks obtained by candidates in the IFoS Mains are counted for selection in the final merit list.
UPSC IFoS Mains Timetable Released
The UPSC IFoS Mains Timetable was released by UPSC recently. As per the timetable, the exam is scheduled to start on November 16, 2025 (Sunday). On the first day, the General English and General Knowledge papers will be conducted. These two papers are compulsory for all candidates.
The UPSC IFoS Mains Timetable also includes the dates and timings of the optional papers, including Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, and more. Candidates who are appearing for the UPSC IFoS Mains Exam are allowed to opt for the optional subjects as per eligibility. UPSC IFoS Mains Exam Timing
Candidates who are going to appear for the IFoS Mains exam are advised to reach their allotted examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Reporting early to the exam centre is important to avoid any last minute hassle for the candidates. As per the Timetable 2025, the Ifos mains exam date 2025 will be conducted between November 16-23, 2025 in two sessions:
