UPSC exam , the cut-off usually remains below 100 marks due to the negative marking scheme. While the total marks for both GS and CSAT papers are 200, the marks per question vary due to differences in total questions. In this paper, candidates are awarded 2 marks for correct answers. - Out of these 8 are unattempted by you for which neither marks will be awarded nor any marks will be deducted.

The Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) Paper of UPSC Prelims is all about reading comprehension, reasoning, and numerical questions in the aptitude section. Since there are just 80 questions in Paper 2 of UPSC, candidates get 2.5 marks for correct answers and 0.83 for wrong answers.
