UPSC Prelims 2024 Exam Postponed: In the latest developments, the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 Exam has been postponed to 16 June 2024 by the Union Public Service Commission. UPSC postponed the IAS prelims from the previous exam date which was 26 May 2024. Now UPSC prelims will be held on June 16th, 2024

UPSC CSE Exam Postponed
In the latest notice titled ‘Re-scheduling of CS(P)-IFoS(P) Examination, 2024’ the UPSC has confirmed that the ‘UPSC CSE Exam Postponed’ from May 26th, 2024. A revised UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 exam date has been notified which also serves as the prelim exam for IFoS 2024. UPSC Prelims postponed to 16 June 2024 from 26 May 2024 . The commission has confirmed the rescheduled date in the official notification issued on its official website. Why UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Exam Postponed?
The UPSC prelims will now be conducted on 16 June 2024. The major reason that led to the UPSC Prelims 2024 exam being postponed is the clash with the Lok Sabha election. Recently ECI released the schedule for the 18th Lok Sabha election causing UPSC to revise the UPSC prelims exam date for 2024.
