
UPSC Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the UPSC Civil Services (CSE) Final Result 2025 today, March 6, 2026. A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for prestigious appointments in the IAS,IPS, IFS, and other central services, with Anuj Agnihotri securing the coveted All India Rank (AIR) 1. The final merit list is based on the combined performance of candidates in the Main written examination held in August 2025 and the Personality Tests conducted between December 2025 and February 2026. Shortlisted individuals can now access the official merit list PDF on the commission's website to confirm their selection and rank.

UPSC CSE Final Result Download Link is active on the UPSC official website. Candidates got a downloadable PDF file containing the names and roll numbers of the candidates who passed the CSE exam. The final result has been declared after the interview round.

Candidates can follow the list of steps for downloading the UPSC CSE Final Result from the official portal.
Step 1: Go To UPSC official website.
Step 2: On the homepage, look at the "What's New" section on the right-hand side.
Step 3: Click on the link titled "Final Result: Civil Services Examination, 2025" (Note: The 2025 exam cycle concludes in early 2026).
Step 4: Use the shortcut Ctrl + F (on Windows) or Command + F (on Mac) and type your roll number or name.
Step 5: Save the file for future reference, as individual scorecards are usually released 15 days later.
The result PDF is more than just a list of names; it is a formal document that provides a breakdown of the selection for that year. It typically includes:
Roll Numbers & Names: Listed in order of merit (Rank 1 onwards).
Category-wise Breakup: A table showing how many candidates were recommended from General, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories.
Service Allotment Details: The total number of vacancies reported for IAS, IFS, IPS, and Central Services Group ‘A’ and ‘B’.
Provisional List: A mention of candidates whose recommendation is "provisional" pending document verification.
Consolidated Reserve List: Information on the reserve list maintained by the Commission as per Rule 20.
Once the UPSC CSE Final Result 2026 is released, it will cover the information of the qualified candidates. Candidates who will qualify the Prelim, Main, and Interview round will appear for the medical examination and proceed for thier training round. The marks of the recommended and non-recommended candidates will be provided within 15 days of the result announcement.
Based on your rank, category, and the preferences you filled in your Detailed Application Form (DAF), the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) will allocate your service (e.g., IAS, IPS, etc.).
Candidates who haven't completed their medicals during the interview stage or those requiring a second opinion will be directed to designated hospitals in New Delhi for a final fitness check.
The Foundation Course (FC) usually begins at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie. For most services, this starts in late August or September.
UPSC releases the marks of all candidates (both recommended and non-recommended) on its website approximately 15 days after the final result declaration.
