JKSSB JE Selection Process 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board is recruiting 292 positions for Junior Engineer (Electrical) across J&KPTCL, JPDCL, KPDCL, and JKPCL in the State's Power Development Department. The JKSSB JE Selection Process has been specified under the detailed notification. The selection of candidates is solely based on their performance in the written test. Those who clear the written exam with a significant score will be shortlisted for the certificate verification phase. 

Selected personnel will be entitled to a pay scale of Level 6 with a salary range of Rs. 35,400 -1,12,400/-. Before applying online, candidates must adhere to eligibility criteria to gain a valid candidacy. Failing to meet the eligibility parameters will lead to disqualification.

JKSSB JE Written Exam

The written examination for JKSSB Junior Engineer will consist of 120 multiple-choice questions across various core subjects of Electrical Engineering. The questions will be set in English Language only. For each correct answer, one mark will be awarded and the exam will end in 2 hours. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

JKSSB JE Document Verification

Candidates who clear the written exam will be shortlisted for the document verification stage. In order to appear for document verification, candidates are required to bring the original documents as well as self-attested photocopies of the documents uploaded in the online application form.

The Document Verification Committee will check the original documents of candidates to ensure they possess the essential qualifications, age limit, domicile proof, experience certificate, etc. Candidates failing to produce the necessary documents will not be considered for selection. JKSSB JE Medical Examination

Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure that they are physically fit for the role. The medical examination will be conducted by authorized doctors of the Board to evaluate the physical fitness and health of candidates.
