The pay scale of FSSAI Food Safety Officers in 2025 will be based on Level-7 of the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix. The starting gross salaried basic pay is ₹44,900 per month and is paid on a pay scale that goes up to ₹1,42,400.
Besides basic pay, the food safety officer will also get the Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) plus a Special Allowance, making the gross monthly salary ₹68,000–₹75,000.
