Central Bank Credit Officer Stipend and Training Period

Candidates selected for the Central Bank of India Credit Officer position undergo a Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) course before being absorbed into the bank. This includes a one-year PGDBF course, with 9 months of classroom training and 3 months of on-the-job training. 

  • Classroom training: During the 9 months of classroom training, candidates receive a stipend of ₹2,500 per month.

  • On-the-job training: For the 3 months of on-the-job training, the stipend is ₹10,000 per month.

Upon completing the training program, candidates are absorbed as Credit Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I) and are placed on probation for two years.
