GIC Assistant Manager Selection Process 2024: The GIC Assistant Manager exam is the most awaited Insurance sector exam in India. In the examination, candidates will be selected for the position of Scale 1 Officer (Assistant Manager). Candidates are finally selected for the available positions and based on the business needs of the participating organizations. GIC Assistant Manager Selection Process 2024
The selection process for GIC Assistant Manager 2024 consists of several stages – Written Test, Group Discussion, Interview and Medical Examination. Candidates appearing for the GIC Assistant Manager written exam will be selected for the next stage i.e. GD, Interview and Medical Examination. The performance of candidates in the written examination and interview is considered for the final selection. Therefore, the marks obtained in this round will not be considered in the final merit list. Minimum qualifying marks in the Online test shall be 60% for the General & OBC category and 50% for the SC /ST category. GIC Assistant Manager Interview 2024
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the GIC Assistant Manager online examination will subsequently be called for group discussion and Interview to be conducted by the Corporation. Group Discussion and GIC Assistant Manager Interview will be conducted at selected centre. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. The list of Candidates selected for GIC Assistant Manager GD & Interview will be displayed on Corporation’s website. Please note that any request regarding change in date, centre etc. of interview will not be entertained.GIC Assistant Manager Probation Period
Selected candidates if medically found fit, will be appointed as Assistant Manager on probation for a period of one year, which may be extended by a further period up to one year. The Corporation reserves the right to terminate service of a candidate if found unsuitable at any time during the probationary period or the extended probationary period without any notice or assigning any reason therefor. During the probationary period, candidates will be required to undergo theoretical and practical training, as may be arranged for them.
