Candidates need to keep the following scanned documents/images ready:

  • Recent passport-size photograph

  • Signature

  • Left-hand thumb impression

  • Hand-written declaration

  • Live photograph

The photograph should be a recent passport-style colour photograph. SBI specifies a preferred photograph size of 200 × 230 pixels, with a file size of 20 KB to 50 KB.

The signature should be made on white paper using black ink. Its preferred dimensions are 140 × 60 pixels, with a file size of 10 KB to 20 KB.

The left-hand thumb impression should be in JPG/JPEG format, with a preferred size of 240 × 240 pixels and a file size of 20 KB to 50 KB.

The handwritten declaration must be written clearly in English using black ink. Its preferred dimensions are 800 × 400 pixels, with a file size of 50 KB to 100 KB.

Candidates should ensure that all uploaded images are clear and match the prescribed specifications. An unclear photograph, signature, thumb impression or declaration may lead to rejection of the application.

Step 8: Capture the Live Photograph

SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2026 also requires candidates to capture and upload a live photograph.

Candidates can use their computer webcam or scan the QR code displayed in the application form using a mobile phone to capture the photograph. The photograph should be taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background with adequate lighting.
