SBI Clerk 2026 Application Fee should be paid only through either in the form of challan or through Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. The Challan form will be generated online. The General/OBC/EWS candidates have to pay Rs. 750/- while SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The candidates have to pay a non-refundable Application Fee as per the categories.

• Candidates should first scan their photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, hand-written declaration, and SBI Apprenticeship Certificate (if applicable) as detailed under the guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature(Annexure-II).
• The text for the hand-written declaration is as follows: “I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph, and left thumb impression are mine”.
• Left Thumb Impression: If a candidate does not have a left thumb, he/she may use his /her right thumb for applying.
• After you have successfully clicked on the Submit button, you will get a preview of the form. In addition to that, an email will be sent to your registered email address, and a message will be sent to your registered mobile number with your registration number and password.
• Pay your Application Fee through the Online Payment Option, i.e., through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking for SBI Clerk 2026 Exam.
• On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated, which may be printed for record. Printout of Application Form is NOT to be sent to SBI.
• Click on the Submit Button. Your application form will be submitted successfully. Take the printout for future use.

Guidelines to Upload Signature

• You should sign on white paper with a Black Ink pen.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
• The size of the file should be between 10 KB – 20 KB
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20 KB.
• Your signature should not be by any other person.
• Your signature will be displayed on the Admit Card and wherever necessary.
• If the Applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the Call Letter, the Applicant will be disqualified.

Guidelines to Upload Left-Hand Thumb Impression

• You should put your left thumb on white paper with Black/Blue Ink.
• File type: jpg/jpeg
• Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI (Preferred for required quality) i.e., 3 cm x 3 cm (Width x Height).
• File Size: 20 kb – 50 kb
• The right thumb impression is only applicable to those candidates who do not have a left thumb.
• Your left thumb impression will be displayed on the Admit Card and wherever necessary.
• If the Applicant’s left thumb impression on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the left thumb impression on the Call Letter, the Applicant will be disqualified.

Guidelines for Uploading Photographs

• The photograph must be a recent passport-style color picture.
• Make sure that the picture is in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white, background.
• Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
• If a picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
• If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye."
• If you wear glasses, make sure that there are no reflections and that your eyes can be seen.
• Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover your face.
• Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
• The size of the file should be between 20 KB–50 KB
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50 KB. If the size of the file is more than 50 KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner, such as the DPI resolution, no. of colors, etc., during the process of scanning.
• The photo uploaded should be of an appropriate size and visible.
