Meghalaya is a state in the northeastern part of India, and it became a state on January 21, 1972. The name "Meghalaya" means "abode of clouds" in Sanskrit because it's the wettest part of India. - Williamnagar is perfect for bird watchers and adventure lovers. You can explore untouched forests, go hiking and trekking. Some cool spots in Williamnagar include Napak Lake, Domre Falls, Simsang River, and Tasek Lake.
