The SBI CBO 2025 Application Fee details are released along with the official notification pdf. Candidates belonging to the General Category are required to pay Rs. 750/- as the application fee for SBI Circle Based Officer 2025 exam whereas candidates from SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from fee.

SBI CBO 2025 Eligibility Criteria 

SBI CBO Age Limit 

Not below 21 years and Not above 30 years as of 30th April 2025. The candidates must have been born not later than 30.04.2004 and not earlier than 01.05.1995 (both days inclusive). 

Age Relaxation

• Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes (SC/ ST): 5 years
• PwBD (UR/ EWS): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
• Eligible - Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years of military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalided: 5 years

SBI CBO Experience Required

Fresh graduates cannot apply for the SBI CBO 2025 as SBI is demanding a minimum of 2 years’ experience (as on 30.04.2025) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank / any Regional Rural Bank. 

SBI CBO Educational Qualification

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University in India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

SBI CBO Selection Process 2025 

The selection process of SBI CBO Recruitment 2025 is based on an online computer-based test, screening, Interview, and Local Language Proficiency Test. However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination. Based on the performance of candidates in the online examination and as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. Final shortlisted candidates are required to qualify for a local language proficiency test of the state they are applying for (if not already studied or certified). Final merit list is prepared based on the scores in online exam and interview.

• A total of 120 questions for 120 marks are asked in the objective exam.
• There will be no sectional cut-off in the online examination.
• There is no negative marking for each incorrect answer.

SBI CBO Salary 2025

The SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) salary for 2025 is structured with a starting basic pay of Rs. 48,480/-, which falls under the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). The SBI CBO official are also eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

SBI CBO Examination Centres 2025

The SBI CBO exam will be organized through an online mode at various locations throughout the nation. State Bank of India has released a tentative list of the SBI CBO Exam Centres for the candidates who can be selected while filling the application forms. Candidates must select their preferred centers during the application process, but the Bank has the discretion to change the allocation. Requests to modify the SBI CBO Exam center, date, or session will not be considered. Candidates are responsible for appearing at the exam premises at their expense.
