SBI PO Mains Information Handout 2025

The SBI PO Mains Information Handout 2025 has been released by the State Bank of India (SBI) which entails the SBI PO Mains Exam Day guidelines, pattern of exams, selection of candidates. The Main Examination will be held online and will include Objective Test of 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be conducted right after the Objective Test ends, and candidates will be required to enter their answers for the Descriptive Test using a computer. All candidates must achieve a minimum sectional score on every test, including objective-type papers I, II, III, IV, and Descriptive-type papers are taken individually during the main examination.

The marks obtained by the candidates in Phase-II (Main Examination both Objective & Descriptive Tests) and PhaseIII (Group Exercise & Interview) will be normalized to 100 marks.

SBI PO Mains 2025 General Instructions

• Details to Be Observed: Please carefully note your roll number, exam date, reporting time, and location for the test mentioned in the call letter.
  
• Timely Attendance: You must arrive at the exam location in accordance with the Call's stated time. Letter. Test-taking will not be permitted for late comers.
• Call Letter: Call Letter for online preliminary examination and photo copy Identity proof must also be presented, and it must have been verified or stamped by the examination officials during the Online Preliminary Examination.
• Candidates who are eligible for and wish to utilize scribe services must submit a Declaration. Call letters and Form (Scribe Declaration Form) are included. This is available for download from the Bank's website.
• If it is discovered at any point during the exam that the scribe is answering or solving the questions on their own,herself, the examination session for these candidates will be ended, and their candidacy will be revoked. If it is reported or discovered that such candidates are utilizing the services of a scribe, their candidacy will be revoked as well. After the test administrator personnel examined that the scribe answered the questions independently.
• Adherence to Directions: Test takers must carefully follow the instructions given by test administrators. the exam's invigilators at every point for which you have been summoned. if you break the guidelines, You might be required to leave the exam room and will be disqualified.
• Use of Books, Notes, Calculators, and Cell Phones: No books, calculators (whether or not attached to a watch), or cell phones, notebooks or written notes, slide rulers, smart watches, and notebooks will be permitted in the exam room.
• Only get up from your seat if you have permission.
• Use of Stationery: You must bring stationery such as pencils, ball point pen, eraser, blue ink stamp pad with you.
• You will be penalized for any incorrect answers you select in the objective tests. There are five options. responses to all the test questions. For every question for which you provided an incorrect answer, A penalty of one-fourth of the points awarded for that question will be applied. If a question is unanswered, In other words, if you do not provide an answer, there will be no punishment for that question. If the entire penalty for the test is in fraction, it will be rounded to the closest whole number. You should therefore exercise caution when evaluating your responses.
• Following items will not be allowed inside the examination hall (Lab) :-
  Any stationery item like written material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch,Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc. Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hair-pin, Hair-band, Belt, Cap, any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, any metallic item, any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like mobile phone, camera, bluetooth devices etc. You are advised to avoid wearing ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch etc.
