The RRB Officer Scale I prelims exam comprises two sections i.e Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude. The prelims exam has a total of 80 multiple-choice questions for 80 marks. Each paper carries one mark and a negative marking of one-fourth marks is applicable for every wrong answer. The exam duration is 45 minutes.
The RRB Officer Scale I mains exam comprises five sections i.e Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English Language/Hindi Language, and Quantitative Aptitude.
The Mains exam has a total of 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks. Also, there will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the marks for each wrong answer. The exam duration is 2 hours.
Candidates who qualify in the main examination for the post of Officers Scale I will be called to participate in the interview round. The interview round is conducted for 100 marks. The final merit list shall be prepared based on the scores obtained in the online main exam and Interview round.
