Step 2: Once logged in, navigate to the correction window from your dashboard. Look for the link that says "Click here for corrections in ICAI application" and click on it. This will take you to the section where you can make changes to your application form.
Step 3: In the correction window, you'll need to verify the details in your application form. This includes information such as your Examination, Barcode/Control Number, Registration Number, Name, Group Applied, Medium Opted, Region of Examination Centre, Exam Centre, ICAI Examination Centre Code, and CA Final Exam Centre Zone.
If everything looks correct, you can proceed by clicking on "No change required." However, if there are errors that need to be corrected, select "Changes required."Step 4: Once you've identified the errors in your application form, you can proceed to correct them. You'll have the option to make changes in three specific fields: Medium Preferred (choosing between Hindi or English), Exam Center (opting for a different city or zone), and Group (selecting from first/second group to both groups or vice versa). Additionally, if you've converted from the old syllabus to the new one, you can change your syllabus accordingly.
Step 5: After making the necessary corrections, it's important to cross-check the fields to ensure accuracy. You can review the edited fields in the preview section, where corrections will be displayed in red. Once you're satisfied with the changes, you'll need to enter the one-time password (OTP) that you receive on your registered mobile number and email ID after clicking on the final submit.
Step 6: In some cases, you may be required to submit a handwritten application. If so, you'll need to upload a scanned image of the handwritten application, written in running handwriting (not all CAPS) and signed by you. The scanned image should be in jpg format and should not exceed 200KB. If your exam is in Hindi, the application must be in Hindi; otherwise, it should be in English. Be sure to include your Roll Number, Name, Registration Number, and Month/Year of Exam, and sign the document before scanning.
Step 7: Finally, once you've completed all the necessary steps and made the required corrections, you can submit the application form. Additionally, ICAI no longer offers Correction Window-II with fees; candidates can rectify their original exams only once without any payment.
