Cell structure and function of Class 8
Cells are the structural and functional units of all living organisms. The cell is one of the most basic units of life.We see innumerable types of things around us. Some of them are living and some of them are non-living.All living organisms appear different from each other, but do you know all of them are made up of the same microscopic units called cells.
Cell is the structural and functional unit of all living organisms. Cells within a single plant or animal vary widely in structure and function, they all represent units of living material and have important properties in common. Both plant and animal cells, are essentially alike in terms of having same type of organelles which functions in a very universal way and carry genes which passes the character of one generation to another generation.
