JK SET Chemical Science Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the JK SET 2024 exam, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria:- They should have obtained at least 55% marks in their Master’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university or institution (50% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates).
- Candidates who are awaiting the results of their Master’s degree exam can apply provisionally. Once they pass the exam, they will be eligible for the Assistant Professor position.
- PhD degree holders who finished their Master’s degree before September 19, 1991, get a 5% mark relaxation for the JK SET Exam.
- Transgender candidates are eligible for the same fee and age relaxation as SC/ST/PwD categories.
- Those who have cleared the UGC NET/ CSIR NET exam before 1989 are exempted from taking the JK SET exam.
- There's no maximum age limit for applying to JKSET.
