JRF Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the JRF Exam 2024 require candidates to possess a postgraduate degree from a recognized university or institution. Here is an overview of the JRF Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria.CSIR NET
- Candidates with a BE, B.Pharma, B.Tech, MSc, Integrated BS-MS, MBBS, or any other science degree are eligible if they score a minimum of 55%.
- Reserved category candidates receive a 5% mark relaxation.
- M.Sc. students who completed graduation (10+2+3) are eligible.
- B.Sc. graduates or those enrolled in an Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% marks can apply.
- Engineering or Science graduates can apply for the fellowship if they enroll in a PhD or PhD integrated program within two years of graduation.
- Maximum age limit is 28 years for UR.
- SC/ST/PWD/Female Applicants must not exceed 33 years.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Applicants have a maximum age limit of 31 years.
- No upper age limit for lectureship.
UGC NET
- Requires a Master’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates).
- The JRF age limit is 31 years.
- No age limit for Assistant Professorship.
ICAR JRF
- Applicants should have passed the Master’s Degree program with a minimum Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA).
- Minimum percentage score required if only marks are awarded.
- Minimum age requirement is 19 years with no age relaxation for any category.
CSIR JRF GATE
- Requires BE/B.Tech degree in engineering with a valid GATE score or B.Pharm degree with GPAT qualification.
- B.Tech in Biotechnology candidates need a valid GATE score and minimum 85.00 %ile.
- General candidates have a maximum age limit of 28 years, OBC 31 years, SC/ST 33 years.
ICMR JRF
- Requires an M.Sc/M.A. degree or its equivalent.
- Final year M.Sc/M.A. degree candidates can also apply.
- Maximum age limit is 28 years with relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/PwD.
DBT JRF (BET & GAT-B)
- Requires M.Sc./M.Tech./M.V.Sc. or equivalent degree in Biotechnology or related disciplines.
- Integrated BS and M.S. or B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology graduates are eligible.
- Candidates from specific programs or disciplines can apply.
- Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/PwD.
