NIMCET Syllabus 2026

NIMCET Syllabus 2026 include Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and General English. The Mathematics section carries the maximum weightage and includes topics such as Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability & Statistics, and Set Theory & Logic. Candidates should prepare thoroughly using graduation-level books for reasoning and aptitude.

The Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning section includes verbal and non-verbal reasoning, puzzles, data interpretation, critical thinking, and numerical reasoning. Computer Awareness covers computer basics, hardware, software, data representation, and internet/email usage. General English tests comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, technical writing, and overall fluency.

Candidates must work on all four subjects to secure high marks and meet the NIMCET cut-off for admission to NITs and IIITs.

NIMCET Exam Pattern 2026

NIMCET exam 2026 is a computer-based test (CBT). The exam will be conducted in English and to have 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 1000 marks. Negative marking will also apply for incorrect answers. Candidates can refer to the table below for the general structure of the exam:
