NIMCET 2026 Notification (Soon)

Usually, the NIMCET exam notification is released in March or April. Therefore, interested students can expect the release of the NIMCET 2026 PDF notification in the same part of the year. Further, the notification contains important information about the exam date and schedule. Also, candidates will get to know about the NIMCET exam pattern and marking scheme in the official PDF advertisement. Therefore, candidates should regularly search for the release of NIMCET 2026 notifications on the internet to prevent missing any important events mentioned there.

NIMCET 2026 Application Form

Candidates must be aware that after the NIMCET 2026 notification release, they will be notified to fill out the application forms. The application forms will be filled out online as per the general trends. Candidates should be ready with their academic certificates, photo ID proofs, and other necessary documents to upload during the application form filling process. 

NIMCET 2026 Application Fee

Candidates will be required to pay their application fee online using any suitable payment portal. Last year, the NIMCET Exam registration fee was ₹2500 for the unreserved category candidates and ₹1250 for the reserved category candidates. This year also, candidates can expect the application fee to remain the same or slightly change.

NIMCET Eligibility

As per the general trends, a candidate who wants to apply for NIMCET must fulfil the NIMCET Eligibility criteria. Otherwise, their candidature can be cancelled. The latest notification for the MCA combined entrance examination has not been released yet. Still, candidates can refer to the previous years’ criteria to check their eligibility status. There was no age limit in the previous years’ NIMCET. Also, candidates can apply for this test as long as they fulfil the other criteria.

NIMCET Syllabus 2026

NIMCET 2026 may include Mathematics, General Aptitude, General English, and Computer Awareness, like the previous year’s syllabus. The general NIMCET syllabus may remain the same as that of the past years. The Mathematics portion contributes to maximum marks in the NIMCET exam. Therefore, candidates must prepare for it carefully. 

Candidates can use graduation-level reasoning books for preparation for the aptitude section. Also, candidates must work on basic computer knowledge and proficiency. Working on all 4 major subjects altogether can help the candidates secure high marks and clear the cut-off score to get admission in their desired NIT or IIIT.

NIMCET Exam Pattern 2026

The NIMCET exam 2025 was a computer-based test. Generally, all the entrance tests are held in online mode today. So, candidates can expect the NIT MCA entrance test to be conducted in the same way only. Further, the examination language can be English. There will be 120 questions weighing 1000 marks.
