UGC has announced several changes in CUET UG 2025 exam from this year onwards. Candidates can check the changes below.

Subject Reduction: The total number of subjects has decreased from 63 to 37. Candidates can now choose up to five subjects instead of six.

Question Format: There will be 50 compulsory questions for each subject, with no optional questions allowed. This ensures all candidates attempt every question.
Deleted Subjects: Certain subjects like Fashion Studies, Tourism Studies, and 20 foreign languages have been removed. Admissions for these subjects will now rely on scores from the General Aptitude Test (GAT).
