A Master’s Degree in the relevant subject or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks, or a CGPA of 6.0 on the 10-point scale in the qualifying exam, from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission is required. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a relaxation of up to 5% in the minimum marks requirement.
Selection Process For Central University of Kerala admission 2024 P.hD Program
Candidates are expected to apply for and participate in the CUET Exam 2024. Those who have qualified in UGC/National/NET exams will be exempt from the Ph.D. entrance examination and can directly proceed to the Personal Interview phase.
Candidate selection will be based on a combination of factors including marks from the entrance exam, performance in the Personal Interview (PI), and their Post Graduation scores. Selected candidates will need to attend a Group Discussion and Personal Interview and can secure admission on the scheduled date.
For admission to the Ph.D. Program, candidates engaged in CUK Research Projects or holding Financial Assistance from entities like Govt. of India/Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF)/Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF), etc., must pass both the written entrance test and the Interview.
Candidates with financial assistance, such as RGNF, MANF, etc., will be given priority over those without, provided they qualify in the entrance test.

Visit the CUCET homepage for online application.
Step 3:
After submitting the application online and successfully making the payment through online/debit card/credit card, an automated email and SMS will be sent to the email address and mobile number provided in the application form.
Step 4:
For those who opt for online application and payment via "Challan," a waiting period of 7 days is necessary. If no confirmation is received within 7 days, send an email to CUCET at queries@cucet.co.in.
Step 5:
Keep a printed copy of the application for future reference.
Note:
Candidates possessing JRF/NET qualifications will be given priority for Ph.D. seats. While they need to apply for CUCET 2018, candidates with JRF are not required to appear for CUCET 2018 specifically at CU Kerala.
