CUET 2025 Subject Mapping Criteria: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is the standardized entrance exam for undergraduate admissions to various Central, State, Deemed, and Private Universities across India. To successfully apply for CUET 2025, candidates must understand the Subject Mapping Criteria, which helps them select the correct subjects in the CUET application form based on their desired undergraduate course.
The CUET UG Subject Mapping Criteria refers to selecting the correct subjects in the entrance exam as per the admission requirements of the cuet participating universities. Candidates must choose subjects carefully to ensure eligibility for the undergraduate course they want to pursue.
Ensures Admission Eligibility – Incorrect subject selection may lead to disqualification.
Helps in University-Specific Selection – Different universities have different subject requirements.
Avoids Disqualification – If candidates do not choose the required subjects, they may not qualify for their preferred courses.
To choose the correct subjects in CUET 2025, follow these steps:
1. Choose Your Course : Decide on the undergraduate program (e.g., B.A. (Hons.), B.Sc., B.Tech, B.Com, BBA, etc.) you want to pursue.
2. Check University-Specific Requirements
Visit university websites or official brochures.
Verify the CUET subject requirements for the selected course.
Check the NTA website for the official CUET subject combinations.
3. Select Subjects Accordingly : CUET is divided into three sections:
Section I: Languages (13 available)
Section II: Domain Subjects (23 available)
Section III: General Test (GAT)
Candidates must select subjects from the right sections as per their desired course requirements.

General Test (GAT): Available for all candidates.
2. Deleted Subjects in CUET 2025 : The following subjects are no longer available in CUET 2025:
