Airforce Agniveer Vayu Musician Selection Process 2025: IAF decided on a selection process to get suitable candidates for Agniveer Vayu posts. The selection process comprises multiple rounds of written tests, musical instrument proficiency tests, physical tests, and medical examinations. The authorities want to get skilled and qualified people to join the IAF. Therefore, these selection rounds are designed to know the efficiency of adapting to the airforce environment.
Air Force wants only those candidates joining Agniveer Vayu posts. Those candidates who can adapt to the responsibilities and working roles. There are multiple selection rounds to check the skills and knowledge of candidates. It includes music tests, written tests, physical tests, and medical tests. Candidates should have valid certification proof to show their knowledge of playing any musical instrument. The IAF authorities conduct musical instrument proficiency tests. This test is the first selection round in Airforce Agniveer Vayu recruitment. Candidates have to play the musical instrument to qualify for the next rounds of the selection process.
English Written Test is the second round in the Airforce Agniveer Vayu Musician Selection Process. Candidates after the musical proficiency test become eligible to take the test. The test comprises 30 questions to be completed in the time duration of 30 minutes.
English Test is based on class 10th level.
No negative markings for unattempted and wrongly attempted questions.
Candidates should note that the question paper is a confidential document for IAF. It should be submitted with the answer sheet.
No mark is for marking for more than one answer in the test.
Candidates who pass the written test need to appear in the adaptability test.
Adaptability Test I covers objective test questions to test candidates suitable to serve IAF in different locations and working conditions.
Aspirants decided to participate in Airforce Vayu posts. It is important to be physically fit. The Physical Fitness rounds are conducted to know candidate's fitness in running, squats, and sit-up exercises. A candidate needs to be physically fit to serve in the Indian Air Force. There are multiple job responsibilities assigned to them that demand physical fitness.
The Physical Fitness Test is divided into two categories PF I and PF II. Male and female candidates need to qualify for these two physical fitness tests to be eligible to go for the next rounds of the selection process. PF I covers a running task for male and female candidates.

After successfully qualifying for the first physical fitness test. Candidates have to give PF II. It is the second round of the fitness test designed for male and female candidates. The authorities assigned them physical tasks to perform sit-ups, squats, and pushups. There is a separate time limit for male and female candidates to complete the physical tasks assigned to them in the recruitment process.
The fitness tasks provided to males are 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
Females need to do 15 squats and 10 sit-ups.
10 minutes of break is provided after 10 push-up tasks.
Then, 2 minutes of break is available after every physical fitness task.

The medical test is conducted as per IAF rules and regulations. It is expected to conduct the medical test in July 2025 at AFS Palam and AFS Yelahanka. The Air Force medical team is responsible for conducting the medical tests as per IAF norms of the defence organization authorities. This is to check the medical fitness of candidates willing to join IAF on Agniveer Vayu posts.
