Staff Nurse

1. Act as First Aider in the absence of a doctor and maintain case records.

 2. Record pulse, temperature, BP, and vital signs. 

3. Attend to detained bed cases and maintain the intake/output chart. 

4. Provide a sponge bath for Hyperpyrexia cases. 

5. Maintain the Central Dressing Room and Minor OT.

 6. Manage pre- and post-operative cases. 

7. Supervise surgical gauze prep and auto-cleaning. 

8. Maintain Electro Medical equipment.

 9. Assist serious cases to Civil Hospitals. 

10. Staff First Aid posts. 

11. Act as Medical Assistant during sick reports.

Chargeman (Naval Aviation)

1. Oversee section operation, supervise personnel, and monitor daily work.

 2. Handle hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

 3. Work on armament systems and aircraft towing. 

4. Manage aircraft electronics and instruments. 

5. Handle engine servicing and overhaul.

 6. Perform NDT techniques and rotor balancing. 

7. Apply aerodynamics and tool calibration knowledge.

Chargeman (Ammunition Workshop)

Supervise section employees, ensure safe and efficient work, maintain tools and stores, and oversee inspection, repair, maintenance and demolition of ammunition.

Chargeman (Mechanic)

Conduct QA/inspection of Naval Armament stores, maintain technical records, perform testing, assist in defect analysis, ensure safe handling of equipment and explosives, and support shipboard trials and firings.

Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive)

Same duties as Chargeman (Mechanic) – QA/inspection of ammunition, records, defect analysis, testing, and safety compliance.

Chargeman (Various Trades)

Repair/refit ship/submarine equipment, supervise workforce, ensure task completion with quality, follow safety norms, and maintain shop-floor machinery and plant.

Assistant Artist Retoucher

Handle CTP chemical prep, operate plate machines, maintain plate processors and printers, stock management, and other assigned duties.

Pharmacist

Store, issue, and manage medicines, maintain records and perform any additional duties.

CameramanManaged

GE camera section operated cameras, and handled repository and studio photography with an assistant.

Store Superintendent (Armament)

Supervise inspection, stock movement, labour, and verification, handle packing, loading/unloading and any other store duties.

Fire Engine Driver

Drive a fire engine, operate pumps, perform rescue operations, conduct repairs, and deliver emergency services.

Fireman

Save lives, maintain firefighting equipment, and perform emergency rescue and medical duties.

Storekeeper (Armament)

Same as Store Superintendent – handle inspection, stock movement, packing, and supervision.

Civilian Motor Driver OG

Drive vehicles, perform inspections, make minor repairs, and report major defects.

Tradesman Mate

Assist in production/maintenance, cleaning, file movement, photocopying, dak delivery, and other office support work.

Pest Control Worker

Implement anti-pest measures, maintain equipment, store and apply chemicals, support sanitation drives, and conduct health exhibitions.

Bhandari

Cook meals/snacks onboard, collect rations, maintain kitchen hygiene, assist deck crew, and report defects.

Lady Health Visitor

Provide prenatal and postnatal care, administer medicines, weigh babies, and manage vaccination and child care services at health centres and homes.

MTS (Ministerial)

Maintain records, perform office cleaning and support, photocopy, dispatch, basic computer work, gardening, driving, and other assigned duties.

MTS (Non-Industrial)/ Ward Sahaika

Provide humane care to patients, maintain ward hygiene, work shifts, and assist paramedical staff.

MTS (Non-Industrial)/ Dresser

Dress wounds, apply medication, and assist in emergency and pre-/post-operation care.
