Indian Navy SSC Officer Salary 2025 Allowances

Indian Navy SSC Officer Service Period and Training

Training Details

  • Officers will be inducted as sub-lieutenants upon successful completion of medical exams.

  • Unmarried candidates are eligible for training. If a candidate marries during training, they will be discharged and required to refund the expenses incurred by the government.

  • Officers who resign during initial training must be refunded the entire training cost and other government expenses.

  • Candidates failing flying training (Pilot/NAOO) will not be absorbed into the service.

Indian Navy SSC Officer Probation Period

  • Probation for SSC (NAIC) Officers: 3 years

  • Probation for Other Branches: 2 years

  • The probation period starts from the date of appointment as Sub Lieutenant.

  • Officers not meeting performance expectations may be discharged at any stage during probation.

  • Upon successful completion of probation, officers will receive salary increments and additional benefits.
