AAT cutoff 2025 will not be released separately. Instead, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will compile and publish the JoSAA 2025 cutoff, which will consist of the opening and closing ranks for BArch admission to participating IITs. During the preparation of the AAT cutoff marks, the authorities consider various factors related to the entrance exam and admission process. However, meeting the JoSAA/AAT 2025 cutoff does not guarantee admission; it simply enhances the chances of admission into preferred colleges for those candidates.

The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025 was conducted on 5 June 2025 in pen-and-paper mode at all zonal IITs. Registration for AAT was open from 2 June to 3 June 2025. Candidates who qualified in JEE Advanced 2025 were only eligible to appear for the exam. AAT Result 2025

The AAT Result 2025 was announced on 8 June 2025 on the official website. Candidates can check their results online using their JEE Advanced credentials. The result will determine eligibility for B.Arch programs at IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. Only those who meet the cut-off in AAT 2025 will be considered for seat allocation in these institutes.

AAT 2025 Counselling

There won't be a distinct counseling session for AAT applicants. Instead, all eligible candidates must engage in the JoSAA 2025 counseling procedure. AAT 2025 counselling is conducted through the centralized JoSAA counselling process, which began on 3 June 2025. Those who qualify the AAT can start filling their B.Arch choices from 8 June 2025, as part of the seat allocation rounds for IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. 

The process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment, and is carried out in six rounds this year. Participation in JoSAA counselling is mandatory for AAT-qualified candidates seeking admission to B.Arch programs at the IITs. The JoSAA 2025 seat allotment result round 1 will be out on 14 June 2025.

JEE Advanced AAT Marks vs Rank

For the JEE Advanced AAT exam, there are no marks or ranks. The result will only declare whether a candidate is “Pass” or “Fail”. For admission to architecture courses across various IITs, candidates need to qualify the AAT 2025, which was scheduled for 5 June 2025. Candidates must have qualified the JEE Advanced Exam 2025 to appear in the exam and participate in the subsequent admission process.
