NID DAT Prelims Result 2024 Re-Evaluation - Key Points

• Candidates must submit their re-checking requests for the NID answer booklet exclusively through the official website of the exam, using the online mode.
• Requests sent via email will be disregarded by the institute.
• Re-checking requests lacking a scanned copy of the NID admit card, signed by the invigilator and stamped with the seal of the test center, will not be processed by the institute.
• The fee for re-checking the NID result is Rs 2,000, which candidates are required to pay online.

Tie-break policy for B.Des program:

• Preference will be given to candidates who achieve higher marks in Part B of DAT Prelims.
• If a tie persists, priority will be given to candidates with higher marks in Part A of DAT Prelims.
• If the tie remains unresolved, both candidates will be awarded the same rank.

Tie-break policy for the M.Des program:

• The candidate with higher marks in DAT Prelims (Part II/Part III) will be assigned a higher rank.
• If the tie persists, priority will be given to the candidate with higher marks in DAT Prelims (Part I).
• If the tie persists further, both candidates will receive the same rank.

Tie-break Policy for B.Des program:

• Priority will be given to the candidate with higher marks in DAT Mains.
• If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Stage 1 of the Design Aptitude Test will be ranked higher.
• If the tie remains unresolved, preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in Stage 1 Design Aptitude Test Part B.
• If the tie still exists, priority will be given to the candidate with higher marks in Stage 1 Design Aptitude Test Part A.
• If the tie persists further, the candidate with higher marks in the question carrying the maximum marks in the DAT Mains exam will be ranked higher.

Tie-break Policy for M.Des program:

• Preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in DAT Mains.
• If the tie persists, priority will be given to the candidate with higher marks in the DAT Mains Studio test.
• If the tie persists further, preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in DAT Prelims.
• If the tie persists even after this, priority will be given to the candidate with higher marks in DAT Prelims Part II/III (Subjective).
• If the tie persists further, preference will be given to the candidate with higher marks in the question carrying the maximum marks in the DAT Mains exam.
• If the tie persists beyond all these criteria, the same rank will be assigned to the candidates.

NID DAT 2024 - Merit Lists

• Merit list for DAT Mains: This list will be compiled based on the scores obtained in NID DAT Prelims 2024. It will serve to shortlist candidates for DAT Mains. Consequently, only those candidates included in this list will be eligible to participate in DAT Mains.
• FINAL merit list of NID DAT 2024: T his list will be formulated by considering the candidate's merit rank in NID DAT 2024 FINAL results. NID DAT 2024 seat allotment will be carried out based on this final merit list.
