Candidates seeking admission to NIFT BFTech 2026 only have to appear for the NIFT GAT test as part of the NIFT selection process. NIFT BFTech 2026 Dates

The NIFT BFTech 2026 application process began on December 8, 2025, with the release of the official application form. The last date to apply is January 6, 2026, followed by the application correction window scheduled from January 12 to January 14, 2026. The NIFT BFTech 2026 entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 8, 2026, in online mode. NIFT BFTech 2026 Application Process

The NIFT BFTech 2026 application process began on December 8, 2025. Candidates can apply till January 6, 2026, and the application correction window will be open from January 12 to 14, 2026. Eligible candidates must first complete the NIFT BFTech registration by entering the required personal details. Applicants are then required to upload the prescribed documents and pay the application fee to successfully submit the NIFT BFTech 2026 application form.

The application fee for NIFT BFTech 2026 is Rs 3,000 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and GEN-EWS categories, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay Rs 1,500. The fee must be paid online using net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

NIFT BFTech Eligibility Criteria

NIFT BFTech eligibility criteria are mandatory requirements for candidates aspiring to join the Bachelor of Fashion Technology program in 2026. Education Qualification:

• Candidates for NIFT BFTech 2026 must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized central or state board with Physics and Mathematics as core subjects, OR, 
• They must have passed with at least five subjects, including Physics and Mathematics from the National Open School, OR,
• Alternatively, students who have cleared any examination with Physics and Maths from public or private boards or universities, including Indian or internationally recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system, are eligible, OR,
• Advanced level exams such as GCE (London, Cambridge, Sri Lanka) and International Baccalaureate programs with compulsory Physics and Maths subjects are also accepted, OR, 
• Students awaiting their board exam results for the current year can apply, provided they produce the pass certificate at the NIFT BFTech 2026 admission time. 

Age Limit:

• Must be below 24 years of age at the time of application. 
• SC/ST candidates get an age relaxation as per government guidelines.

NIFT BFTech Exam Pattern 2026

NIFT BFTech exam pattern 2026 gives insights into the variations of questions asked and the marking scheme. It includes NIFT GAT conducted in computer-based mode with objective-type questions in English or Hindi. There is negative marking, with 25% marks deducted for every incorrect answer. NIFT BFTech Syllabus 2026

NIFT BFTech Result 2026

The NIFT BFTech Result 2026 is expected to be announced tentatively in April 2026 on the official NIFT and NTA websites. Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the NIFT GAT, Situation test, or Personal Interview. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their application number and date of birth to download their scorecards. NIFT BFTech Counselling 2026

NIFT BFTech counselling 2026 will be conducted in multiple rounds, including a spot round, through the official NIFT counselling portal. The counselling may commence in June 2026 in online mode, with registration starting after the results are announced. NIFT BFTech seat allotment is based on the candidate's merit rank, category, and preferences submitted during counselling. Once the seats are allotted, candidates need to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats. 

NIFT BFTech Cutoff 2026

NIFT BFTech cutoff 2026 is the minimum rank or score required by the candidates to qualify for admission to the Bachelor of Fashion Technology program.
