The NIFT 2025 cutoffs for Rounds 1 and 2 for undergraduate and graduate programs were made available by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) on its official website, https://nift.admissions.nic.in/or-cr/.Each campus has a different NIFT cut-off. Admission will be extended to candidates who meet the NIFT cut-off for a given round. Candidates who score equal to or more than the NIFT cutoff marks and have obtained a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) are eligible for NIFT counselling. These cutoffs vary significantly across campuses, with top institutes like NIFT Delhi and Mumbai having highly competitive ranks, especially for sought-after courses such as B.Des in Fashion Design. Previous year, the closing rank for NIFT Delhi campus fashion design admission (round 1) was 104.
The NIFT cutoff 2025 will be determined by various factors such as the total number of applicants, availability of seats, category of the candidate, and difficulty level of the exam. By analyzing the NIFT cutoff marks, candidates can optimize their preparation strategies to score well in the exam.

How to Check NIFT Cutoff Marks?
NIFT cutoff 2025 will be released institute-wise during seat allotment and counselling. The NIFT cutoff marks will be released for each round of seat allotment. Candidates who meet the cutoff marks will be eligible for admission. Candidates can follow the given steps to view NIFT cutoff 2025.

The opening rank and closing rank (OR-CR) option for the UG and PG courses will be displayed on the screen.
To get relevant NIFT cutoff 2025, select the seat-allotment round, institute, program, and category.

NIFT Cutoff 2025 Important Points
The following are some important pointers related to NIFT cutoff 2025.
The NIFT 2025 cut-off will be unveiled following the completion of seat allotment. It can be accessed online at nift.ac.in/admission.
This cut-off will encompass both the opening and closing common merit ranks for NIFT 2025. It's important to note that the cut-offs will be released by category and for each of the participating NIFT campuses.
Only candidates who meet the cut-off rank (or marks) for their chosen program and category will be considered for admission.
If a candidate doesn't meet the cutoff in a prior round, they'll be reconsidered for admission in subsequent seat allocation phases.
However, if a candidate fails to meet the cut-off in the final round of allotment, admission will not be granted.
The determination of the cut-off will be influenced by factors such as seat availability, total applicants, and the category under which admission is sought.
Any changes in these factors may lead to adjustments in the cut-off; for example, an increase in seat availability would lower the cut-off, while a decrease would raise it.

NIFT Counselling 2025
NIFT Counselling 2025 has officially begun for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, with the process starting soon after the declaration of final results. Eligible candidates were required to register and upload documents between 24 June 2025 and 1 July 2025, on the official NIFT counselling portal.
The counselling includes three regular rounds of seat allotment followed by a SPOT round to fill any remaining vacancies, with choice filling and seat locking for Round 1 extended until 6 July 2025. Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee, participate in online choice filling, and confirm their admission by paying the seat acceptance fee within the stipulated deadline. Allotment is strictly based on merit and preferences, and the entire process is conducted online for all participating NIFT campuses.
NIFT 2025 cutoffs will be unveiled during the counseling and seat allocation process, scheduled for July-August 2025.
