NIFT Counselling 2026 Schedule

The table below shows the complete counselling schedule announced for admissions in 2026.

NIFT Seat Allotment 2026

The NIFT Seat Allotment 2026 process was conducted in four stages, including three regular counselling rounds and one Spot Round. The seat allotment result for every round was released through the candidate login on the NIFT Admissions Portal.

If you received a seat, you were required to complete the admission steps within the given deadline. Failure to pay the admission fee within the prescribed time resulted in cancellation of the allotted seat.

NIFT Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026

The NIFT Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026 result was released on 27 June 2026. Candidates who were allotted a seat had to:

• View the seat allotment result.

• Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.

• Submit willingness.

• Pay the prescribed admission fee within the given timeline.

Candidates who did not receive a seat in Round 1 were automatically considered for the next round if they remained registered and eligible.

Candidates were also allowed to opt for an NRI Sponsored Seat on 3 July 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Choice modification for Round 2 was available from 3 July to 5 July 2026.

NIFT Round 2 Seat Allotment 2026

The NIFT Round 2 Seat Allotment 2026 result was declared on 7 July 2026. Candidates who received a seat had to:

• View the seat allotment result.

• Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.

• Submit willingness.

• Pay the admission fee through the portal.

Candidates who were not allotted a seat were automatically considered for the next counselling round if they were registered and eligible.

The option to choose an NRI Sponsored Seat was available on 11 July 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Choice modification for Round 3 was allowed from 11 July to 13 July 2026.

NIFT Round 3 Seat Allotment 2026

The NIFT Round 3 Seat Allotment 2026 result was announced on 15 July 2026.

Candidates who received a seat had to:

• View the seat allotment result.

• Download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.

• Pay the admission fee through the portal.

The notification also informed candidates that registration for the Spot Round would be held from 19 July to 22 July 2026. Students were advised to check the official NIFT website and admissions portal regularly for updates.

NIFT Spot Round Counselling 2026

The NIFT Spot Round Counselling 2026 was conducted after the completion of the three regular counselling rounds. The Spot Round schedule included:

Candidates allotted a seat during the Spot Round had to:

• View the seat allotment result.

• Download the Provisional Allotment Letter.

• Pay the admission fee through the portal.

• Download the Provisional Admission Letter.

If the admission fee was not paid within the specified timeline, the allotted seat was cancelled.

NIFT Seat Allotment Result 2026

The NIFT Seat Allotment Result 2026 for every counselling round was made available through the candidate login on the NIFT Admissions Portal. Candidates had to download their provisional allotment letter after checking the result and complete all required admission formalities within the notified deadline.
