Bhumika Patil’s UCEED 2026 success story shows how consistent preparation, regular practice, and the right strategy can help students achieve a strong rank. She secured All India Rank (AIR) 83 and OBC Category Rank 13 in UCEED 2026.
A dropper, Bhumika used her preparation year to strengthen her design skills, improve her speed, and build confidence. She discovered PW through YouTube and joined the Design Pro batch around April-May 2025. Her preparation included regular classes, mock tests, PYQs, revision, and dedicated practice for UCEED Part B.
Bhumika’s reaction after checking her result was highly emotional. Although she believed she could secure a good rank, she did not expect to achieve AIR 83.
Talking about the moment, she said:
“Bahut hi zyada... matlab main aadha ghanta royi thi.”
She added:
“Believe toh tha mujhe, par aisa nahi laga tha ki itni achhi rank aa jayegi.”
Her father was at work when she checked the result, so she immediately called him and shared the news.
“Papa actually office mein the, toh maine unko call kiya tha... aur maine tabhi result dekha, toh woh bahut khush ho gaye.”
Bhumika secured:
UCEED 2026 AIR: 83
OBC Category Rank: 13
Status: Dropper
PW Course: Design Pro Batch
Bhumika dedicated an additional year to UCEED preparation. Instead of treating the drop year as a setback, she used it to improve her fundamentals, practise questions, and work on areas that required more attention.
Her journey shows that a drop year can become an opportunity to prepare more systematically and build confidence before the examination.
Bhumika first discovered PW while searching for UCEED preparation resources on YouTube.
She said:
“April mein pichhle saal maine search kiya tha... YouTube ke videos wagairah maine dekhe the. Uske upar se mujhe laga ki PW bahut achha hai.”
After exploring PW’s preparation resources, she joined the Design Pro batch around April-May 2025.
Bhumika attended her UCEED classes regularly and completed them from beginning to end. The strategies discussed during classes helped her approach different types of questions more effectively.
She said:
“Aapke jo UCEED ke classes maine... saare first to last saare classes kiye the. Woh mujhe bahut help hui.”
She particularly found the question-solving strategies useful for mathematics and pattern-based questions.
“Aap jo alag-alag strategies batate the questions solve karne ke, toh woh exam mein bahut help hui thi.”
Mock tests played an important role in her preparation. She attempted PW mocks regularly and used them to improve her time management.
She explained:
“Mocks main regular deti thi aur mujhe PW ke mocks bahut achhe lagte the. Time management bahut achhe se hota tha usmein.”
The mocks also gave her a confidence boost and motivated her to improve.
“Jab bhi main UCEED ka mock deti thi, mujhe ek boost-up milta tha ki aur achhe se kar sakte ho.”
Bhumika gave significant attention to Part B, especially during the early stage of her preparation. She focused on building her fundamentals in perspective, shapes, product design, and human figures.
She said:
“Part B ke liye toh maine sabse pehle jo apna basics rehta hai, matlab perspective wagairah aur product design ke liye shapes and all, woh sab maine first month mein practice kiya tha achhe se.”
She also focused on human figures because she considered them an important area for UCEED.
“Human figures par maine zyada focus kiya tha, kyunki woh of course UCEED mein lagta hi hai.”
For product design, Bhumika followed guidance from PW teacher Sakshi Ma’am and used test evaluations to understand how to improve her product sheets.
“Kya chahiye, kya hona chahiye, kaise product sheet banani chahiye, woh sab evaluation bhi milta tha.”
Perspective questions initially took Bhumika around 40–45 minutes. She consciously worked on improving her speed through practice.
She said:
“Perspective ke hi questions mujhe 40–45 minutes aise lagte the pehle. Phir maine time improve karne ki koshish ki, toh phir woh 30 minutes mein hone laga tha baad mein.”
This improvement highlights the importance of timed practice for UCEED aspirants.
Bhumika also experienced a difficult phase around October-November when motivation and preparation became challenging. Instead of completely stopping her studies, she started with topics she already knew well.
She explained:
“Maine jo topic mujhe aate the bahut achhe se, like PYQ mein jo topics mujhe boost-up karte the, woh maine pehle kiye.”
These familiar topics helped reduce her stress and rebuild her confidence.
“Woh topic karne se mujhe aur thoda boost milta tha, toh waise hi main mera stress handle kar rahi thi.”
Bhumika identified theoretical mathematics as one of her weaker areas. She worked on it by solving more questions and giving the topic additional attention.
“Weak subject toh mera jo theoretical maths hota hai, woh thoda sa weak tha mera.”
She added:
“Maine last-last mein kiye the aur uske bahut saare questions maine practice kiye the.”
Her approach shows the importance of identifying weak areas and addressing them through targeted practice.
Although Bhumika felt nervous before entering the examination hall, she also felt confident because she knew she had completed her preparation.
“Dar toh lag raha tha, par aisa bhi tha ki saara kuch ho gaya hai. Sab kuch preparation ho gayi hai.”
She maintained a relatively relaxed mindset:
“Ek aisa chill mind bhi tha ki theek hai, jo hoga woh ho jayega.”
Staying calm allowed her to focus on applying what she had practised instead of getting overwhelmed by exam pressure.
Bhumika’s biggest advice to future UCEED aspirants is simple: never give up.
“Sab UCEED aspirants ko... kabhi bhi give up mat karna.”
She also advised students to spend more time on difficult topics.
“Jo bhi topic hard lag raha hoga, uske upar zyada mehnat lo.”
For students dealing with stress, she recommended starting with topics they enjoy and understand well to regain confidence.
“Stress agar aa raha hoga... tumhe jo topics achhe lag rahe hain woh pehle karo.”
Bhumika’s journey to AIR 83 in UCEED 2026 offers several lessons for future aspirants:
Attend classes regularly and complete the syllabus systematically.
Take mock tests to improve time management and confidence.
Give dedicated attention to Part B.
Practise perspective, product design, shapes, and human figures regularly.
Track your speed and work on reducing the time taken for lengthy questions.
Identify weak subjects and solve more questions from them.
Use familiar topics to regain confidence during stressful phases.
Stay calm and trust your preparation on exam day.
Most importantly, never give up.
Bhumika Patil’s UCEED 2026 AIR 83 success story is a strong example of how consistent preparation and focused practice can turn a drop year into a successful one. Through the PW Design Pro batch, regular classes, mock tests, Part B practice, and targeted improvement, she built the skills needed to perform well in UCEED.
Her journey also shows that preparation will have difficult phases. What matters is how students handle stress, work on weak areas, and maintain consistency.
For students preparing for UCEED 2027 and beyond, Bhumika’s message is worth remembering:
“Kabhi bhi give up mat karna.”
Her story proves that with consistent effort, smart practice, and a calm mindset, aspirants can move closer to their desired rank and design college.
