UCEED Result 2024 : The UCEED Result 2024 was announced by IIT Bombay on March 8, 2024. Below is the direct link to access your UCEED results. To view your results, please log in to the portal using your designated login ID and password.

From March 11 to June 12, 2024, the scorecard for UCEED 2024 will be available for download. This scorecard has been provided to all candidates who took the UCEED 2024 exam and will include Part A and category-specific qualifying marks. However, only candidates shortlisted will receive common merit ranks (All India Rank), Part A marks, and UCEED 2024 scores. Those who attain a merit rank will be eligible to participate in UCEED 2024 counseling. The validity of the UCEED 2024 scorecard will be for one year from the date of issuance.

UCEED Result 2024 Tie-Breaker

If two or more candidates achieve identical scores in the exam, a tie-breaking protocol is implemented to determine their UCEED ranks. The procedure is outlined as follows:
  1. Priority is given to the candidate with higher marks in Part B for assigning a higher rank.
  2. If the above criterion fails to resolve the tie, precedence is given to the candidate with higher marks in Section 2 of Part A.
  3. If neither of the previous criteria resolves the tie, preference is given to the candidate with higher marks in Section 1 of Part A.
  4. If a tie persists even after considering the above criteria, the candidates will be allocated the same rank.
It's essential for candidates to understand that obtaining a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission to the BDes course. Candidates who make it onto the UCEED merit list must subsequently participate in the joint seat allocation process or counseling.

Please note: The Part-B answer booklet will not undergo evaluation unless the candidate has been shortlisted. To achieve shortlisting, the candidate must attain the minimum required marks in UCEED 2024 Part A.

UCEED 2024 Rank List

The UCEED rank list is compiled based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the examination. It should be emphasized that only candidates who achieve the minimum required marks in each section of the exam, as well as the minimum total marks, will be listed in the UCEED 2023 rank list. The specified minimum marks for candidates from various categories, both overall and in each section of the exam, are detailed in the table below:

Key points about UCEED 2024 Scorecard

  • The UCEED 2024 scorecard will display Part A marks for all candidates.
  • Only if a candidate meets the Part A cut-off and is shortlisted, their Part B answer sheet will be evaluated. Consequently, the scorecard will not include Part B marks for candidates who do not qualify in Part A.
  • Moreover, UCEED 2024 marks and merit ranks will be disclosed solely for shortlisted candidates.
  • The UCEED 2024 merit rank will be utilized for seat allotment.

What after the UCEED 2024 Result?

Following the announcement of the UCEED 2024 result, candidates are required to engage in the counseling procedure for admission. The application form for UCEED 2024 counseling, aimed at securing admission to B.Des courses, remained accessible until March 31. Qualified candidates of the UCEED 2024 exam must register and indicate their preferred institutes in order of preference. The seat allocation process comprised three rounds.
