What Is JEE?

What Is JEE? : JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. It is a national-level common entrance examination conducted for candidates seeking admission to top engineering colleges in India. However, it is one of the hardest exams in the country. The National Testing Agency conducts it on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

IIT (Indian Information Technology) JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)
IIT stands for Institute of Information Technology JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination.
IITs are the top engineering institutes in India JEE is an entrance exam conducted at the national level for getting admission in undergraduate courses in top colleges in India.
Candidates must have cleared 12th with a minimum of 75% marks. Also, candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% in class Xth. Candidates need to have a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate or a minimum of 55% in class XII.
IIT has no entrance exam of their own JEE is a national-level competitive entrance exam
The maximum age allowed for admission to IIT College is 25 years. There are no age limits for appearing in the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams.
Candidates can attempt for IIT admission a maximum of three times. Candidates can attempt the JEE Main exam for three times and the JEE Advanced two times in two consecutive years.
Candidates must register themselves on the JoSAA official website for admission to IIT. Candidates need to fill out the Application form at @jeemain.nta.ac.in
IIT provides BTech, BArch, and other engineering courses. Candidates can get admission to IIT by JEE Advanced only. Candidates can get admission to IITs, NIITs, and other centrally funded institutions in India after clearing JEE Main.
The JosAA conducts the counselling process. The counselling process is conducted by the CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board).
