NEET Biology Syllabus 2026

NEET Biology Syllabus 2026: The NEET UG 2026 exam is expected to follow the same syllabus as NEET 2025, since the National Testing Agency (NTA) did not make any changes last year. As of now, the official NEET 2026 syllabus has not been released. Therefore, students should prepare based on the NEET 2025 syllabus until any new notification is announced.

NEET Biology Syllabus 2026 holds the most weight in the NEET UG 2026 exam, with questions from both Class 11 and Class 12 NCERT textbooks. The biology section includes 90 questions, covering both Botany and Zoology. Understanding the chapter-wise weightage will help students focus on the most important areas first. Since NEET Biology strictly follows the NCERT curriculum, thorough preparation from NCERT books is highly recommended.

NEET Biology Syllabus 2026 Overview

As of now, the official NEET UG 2026 Biology syllabus has not been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, considering that no changes were made to the syllabus in 2025, it is anticipated that the NEET 2026 Biology syllabus will remain consistent with the previous year's syllabus. Therefore, students preparing for NEET 2026 should refer to the NEET 2025 Biology syllabus for their studies. The NEET Biology syllabus encompasses topics from both Class 11 and Class 12, covering essential concepts in Botany and Zoology. The syllabus is structured into ten units, each focusing on different aspects of biological sciences.
