Dharmendra Pradhan is an Indian politician. He currently holds two important positions in the Indian government: Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. He studied at Talcher College and Utkal University. Before his current roles, he also served as the Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and the Minister of Steel.

Abul Kalam Azad was the first Education Ministers of Independent India. He was a key leader in the Indian National Congress, which fought for India's freedom from British rule. Azad became the youngest President of the Indian National Congress at the age of 35. He organized important protests like the Dharasana Satyagraha and worked for Hindu-Muslim unity, secularism, and socialism. During his presidency, the Quit India movement against British rule was launched, leading to his imprisonment along with other Congress leaders. Through his newspaper, Al-Hilal, Azad also promoted harmony between Hindus and Muslims. Today, India celebrates his birthday as National Education Day to honor his contributions to education and nation-building.
