CTET Exam Date 2024 : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the 19th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 14 December 2024. This exam will be held in 136 cities across India and will be in 20 different languages. CTET 2024 will have two shifts: the first shift for Paper II will be held from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, and the second shift for Paper I will be held between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a modification regarding the schedule of the 20th edition of CTET 2024 December exam. The examination will now be held on December 14, 2024 due to administrative reasons, as notified in their office notice No. CBSE/CTET/December/2024/E-73233/Revised dated September 20, 2024.
However, in response to feedback from candidates regarding other competitive examinations scheduled on the same date in various states and union territories, the CTET examination has been rescheduled to December 14, 2024.

Candidates will not be permitted to enter the Examination Center after the commencement of the examination as per the time schedule given below or the CTET Admit Card 2024 . Qualifying for the CTET 2024 December does not make a person eligible for recruitment or employment, as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for an appointment.
