GATE Exam 2023 - Latest Updates & Notification
On 27th July 2022, IIT Kanpur has released the notification for GATE exam 2023. The released notification also stated the latest notification, updates, GATE Exam Syllabus, and examination pattern.
- The conducting authority has released the notification for the GATE 2023 examination.
- The authority has announced the withdrawal of international centers Dhaka, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Male, Port Louis, Singapore, and Thimphu due to operational issues.
- Aspirants who have filled out their application forms from these centers and told to withdraw their candidature.
- The application form and correction window for GATE 2023 has been closed.
- Two new subjects, Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (combined) and Geomatics Engineering, have been introduced, due to which the number of subjects has been increased to 29.
- The GATE 2023 examination will be held in a total of 218 centers all across India.
- The eligibility criteria are the same as stated earlier. Students studying in the third year can apply for GATE examination.
GATE Exam Pattern
According to the GATE Exam Pattern 2023, there are three types of questions in the GATE Question Paper. These include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Each of these questions is worth 1 or 2 points, for a total of 100 points.
