GATE COAP Counselling 2026:  IISc Bangalore will begin the COAP 2026 Round 1 counselling process on May 11, 2026. The registration and choice-filling link for Round 1 will be available on the official website, gate.iisc.ac.in. The complete COAP 2026 counselling schedule will be updated here once released.

Candidates participating in this round can choose from the following options: Accept & Freeze or Reject. Please note that the Retain & Wait option will not be available in Round 1.

COAP Counselling 2026

As the GATE Result 2026 has been declared by IIT Guwahati on March 19, the online registration for GATE COAP Counselling 2026 started from 27 March 2026. What is COAP?

The full form of COAP is Common Offer Acceptance Portal, which serves as a centralized platform that allows GATE-qualified candidates to review and accept admission offers for M.Tech programs from participating IITs and IISc, as well as job offers from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). While COAP facilitates the decision-making process, candidates must apply separately to individual institutes or PSUs, as COAP itself is not an application portal.

The registered candidates will be allowed to access the admission /job offers by the participating institutes / PSU's where they have applied.
