The Institute has yet to provide official statistics for the 2023 drive. Previously, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur completed phase I of the final placements 2022 on December 15, 2021, according to the official placement report.

Furthermore, at the end of phase I, the institute got a remarkable 47 international offers. The top international package was more than INR 2 crore per year, whereas IIT Kanpur's highest domestic package was INR 1.20 crore per year. IIT Kanpur M.Tech Placement Process

• Students must register on the Recruitment Automation System (RAS) with the Point of Contact (PoC), which is assigned by students' placement offices or placement coordinators.
• Students must complete a Job Announcement Form (JAF)/Internship Proforma (IP) and provide their profile information.
• The PoC team posts job/internship positions on the portal after they have been verified.
• Following that, students must post their resumes to the RAS.
• Companies conduct their PPT and tests/screening process with the mutual cooperation of the placement team.
• Students who have been selected based on their resumes must attend the interview procedure.
• At the end of the interview, a list of selected and waitlisted candidates is released following the screening procedure.
• Finally, offer letters are distributed to selected students.
