Applicants must be citizens of India to apply for the NALCO GATE 2023 recruitment.

NALCO Recruitment through GATE Age Limit

Applicants under the age of 30 Years are eligible to apply. The calculation of the age limit of candidates will be done based on 02.04.2024. However, according to government guidelines, there are age relaxations for reserved applicants.

NALCO GATE Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

Applicants applying must have completed their B.E. or B.Tech. with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks or an equivalent CGPA.

Step 1: Filling out the NALCO GATE 2023 application form

To start, visit NALCO's official website and click on the option "Click here to apply."

• Fill out the personal, contact, and qualifying details in addition to the application fee payment.
• Next, enter the GATE registration number in accordance with the GATE 2023 admit card.

Step 2: Upload the Scanned Documents

Applicants are advised to upload the following documents in jpg format and within 100 KB in size:

• GATE 2023 admit card
• Applicants must submit a passport-size photograph similar to one pasted on the GATE 2023 form.
• A scanned copy of the signature, which should be the same as that provided in GATE.
• Prescribed qualification or mark sheet from grades 10, 12, or graduation or postgraduation as per the requisite qualification
• The e-payment receipt must be in pdf format for submission.

Step 3: Payment of NALCO Recruitment Application Fee

To pay the NALCO application fee, applicants can use an internet banking account, credit card, or debit card through the State Bank Collect page of SBI. Applicants from the general and OBC categories need to pay Rs. 500, while SC/ST/PWD/Departmental applicants should pay Rs. 100 as a registration fee. Here are the steps to make the payment:

• Click on the "Make Payment" option and access the State Bank Collect page of SBI.
• Choose "Odisha" as the state of the corporation or institution and "PSU-Public Sector" as the type of corporation or institution.

NALCO Recruitment through GATE Selection Process

Applicants will be selected for NALCO Graduate Engineer Trainee posts based on their GATE 2023 scores. Shortlisted applicants will need to attend a personal interview, during which they must present their original GATE 2023 admit card and scorecard, as well as any other necessary documents specified in the personal interview call letter.

Selected applicants will undergo a one-year training program. Upon successfully completing this training, they will be appointed as Junior Managers in the E-1 grade.

NALCO Recruitment through GATE Salary

During the one-year training period, applicants will receive a stipend based on a pay scale of Rs 40,000–3%–140,000/-. Following successful completion of the training, they will be appointed as Junior Managers at the E1 grade, with a pay scale of Rs 60,000–3%–180,000/-.

• The NALCO recruitment through GATE salary will be approximately Rs 10.52 lakhs per annum during the training period and Rs 15.73 lakhs per annum after confirmation.
• In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance, cafeteria approach perquisites, House Rent Allowance (HRA), medical benefits for themselves and their dependents, and superannuation benefits such as Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity, in accordance with the company's prevailing rules, during both the training and post-absorption phases.
