GATE 2027: The Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering is a popular national-level entrance test organized annually by a group of seven IITs and IISc Bangalore on behalf of the Ministry of Education.

• Age Limit - There is no specific age limit criteria to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering. Applicants of any age group can take the GATE 2027 exam if they meet the basic qualification.
• Nationality - All Indian citizens and foreign nationals of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Ethiopia and United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) countries are eligible.
• Number of Attempts - There are no restrictions on the number of attempts for the GATE exam. Applicants can take the exam multiple times as their wish if they fulfill the eligibility norms.

Step 2: Filling of Online Application Form - Login in to the GOAPS Portal with registration details and fill out all the necessary details.

Step 3: Uploading Documents - Upload the scanned images of your photograph, signature, photo ID proof document and category certificate (if claiming reservation benefits).

Step 4: Fee Payment - Make online payment of registration fee using debit/credit card, net banking or UPI wallet.

Step 5: Preview and Submit - Preview your application form to ensure accuracy of the details. After verifying all the details, submit it.

GATE 2027 Exam Pattern

GATE 2027 Admit Card

IIT Madras will release the GATE 2027 Admit Card on its official website, gate.iitm.ac.in. With the activation of the hall ticket link, candidates will be allowed to access it by providing the login credentials.

The admit card for GATE 2027 is expected to be made public in January 2027. Candidates are required to bring the admit card along with ID proof documents (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport) and photographs to the allotted test centre. Candidates will not be allowed to take the examination if they fail to produce the admit card.

The step-wise process to download the GATE Admit Card 2027 is outlined below for the candidate's ease:

Step 1: Go to the GATE 2027 Official Website, gate.iitm.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the GATE 2027 Admit Card download link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your enrollment ID / registered email ID, password, and captcha, to log in.

GATE 2027 Answer Key

Following the completion of the examination, the conducting authority will release the GATE 2027 Answer Key online. The answer key will help aspirants to review their performance and estimate the probable marks. The conducting institute also provides facility to raise objections against provisional answer key if candidates found any discrepancies. 

Candidates need to insert their enrollment ID and password to download the answer key and raise objections via GOAPS Portal. The objection window will remain open for a certain period and candidates need to pay the online fee of INR 500 per question to challenge the response sheet. Candidates are advised to download their answer key and keep it safe for future records.

GATE 2027 Result

IIT Madras will declare the GATE 2027 Result in March 2027 on the official portal, gate.iitm.ac.in. With the release of the results, candidates will be able to access it by entering the login credentials. Alongside the results, the authorities will also announce the GATE 2027 Cut Off for all papers. 

The GATE Result 2027 will contain the raw marks obtained by candidates along with normalized marks and All India Rank. Those who clear the exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds and PSU recruitments.

GATE 2027 Cut Off

Following the declaration of results, IIT Madras will release the GATE 2027 Cut Off for all papers. The cut-off marks indicate the minimum score needed to be obtained by applicants in order to pass the examination. GATE 2027 Scorecard

The GATE 2027 Scorecard will be made public on the official portal, goaps.iitm.ac.in. The scorecard will be issued only for those who meet the qualifying marks in the respective paper. The GATE Scorecard 2027 will remain valid for three years for admission purposes while it will remain valid for a year to obtain PSU jobs.
